In today’s interview we talked to Attila Pal Nagy, one of the Production Planninger in Domestic Sales, who has been strengthening the Autóflex-KNOTT team for more than 9 years. Welcome him!
How long have you been part of the Autóflex-KNOTT Kft team? How did you find this opportunity?
N.A.P.: I have been with the company since 2015, when Autóflex was recommended by another company.
Is this your first position here? If not, how did you start your career and how did you get to your current position?
N.A.P.: Initially I was a manual welder in an axle shop. Then I went out on my own and started welding winches. Finally, 5 years ago I was given the opportunity to join the domestic sales team, previously in production but now as a pre-production “coordinator”.
What steps have you taken to develop professionally? Were there any training courses, courses or mentors that were particularly influential for you?
N.A.P.: In welding, I have taken all the training courses privately that I thought I needed or would need. I have completed four out of five of the certification procedures. Whatever my current job requires, I try to prepare myself for.
My mentor is my immediate boss, Sándor Sárközi, Head of Domestic Sales and Production, who tries to give me all the help I need to get to know my new responsibilities as quickly as possible.
What are your personal motivations in your job? What drives you forward in your daily life?
N.A.P.: I try to make the most of the opportunities and meet the expectations of Autóflex.
What do you consider your greatest professional success at Autóflex-KNOTT Ltd?
N.A.P.: Not so much as a person, but as a team we can work together
Everyone is good at something different, but the end result is what matters.
What challenges do you face in your daily work and how do you deal with them?
N.A.P.: Every day is a challenge because there is a lot of diversity and to do it well you need teamwork.
Why do you like working at Autóflex-KNOTT Ltd? What values does the company represent for you?
N.A.P.: Like everyone else, it is important for me to work in a place that gives me a secure background and predictability.
How would you describe the working atmosphere and teamwork? What is it like to work with colleagues?
N.A.P.: It’s all about the fruits of working together with colleagues. The road to that point is like a marriage, there are harder days and easier days, but proportionally there is more positive cooperation.
How do you unwind and recharge from the weekdays? What helps you recharge?
N.A.P.: I get all my energy from my children.
