Based on its principle of operation, the brake converts kinetic energy into heat, which ensures the grip of the rotating parts (brake drums, wheels). How do we know if the brakes are worn out?
A worn-out brake lining can be the cause of a fatal accident. Therefore, regular visual inspection should not be missed. If in doubt, consult a mechanic. It is important to know that the efficiency of the brakes decrease rapidly with the wear of the brake pads. The thinner the brake pad is, the worse the heat dissipation is. In addition, many small parts need to work together for everything to work properly. The loud clicking sound of the brake is an indication of a fault which is usually due to incorrect adjustments but most of the time the lack of adjustments.
