Autóflex-KNOTT Ltd., founded by Sándor H. Szabó and a friend in 1982, turned 40 this year. They threw themselves into the work with great enthusiasm, ambition and drive. Their first major order was an Omnibus. Back then, they had no idea what their start-up garage company would become in just 40 years.

Currently every 3rd trailer in Europe is made with components manufactured by the AUTÓFLEX group. Our aim is this to be true for every 3rd trailer in the world. In addition, the Autóflex group produces more than 1,000,000 axles and a thousand different types of trailer parts for the global market. The Group is present in all parts of the world: in South America, China, Japan, Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Europe and the USA, while maintaining 27 subsidiaries. Pretty much all of our subsidiaries specialise in the manufacture and design of specialised components which is how our group has built its successful business and supply chain. We are working hard for this, of course. We are constantly modernising and expanding our manufacturing capacity. In addition, our colleagues are constantly developing new and existing products. But there is one factor, perhaps more important than any other, that has helped us achieve this result.
Autóflex-KNOTT Ltd., the familial company
Although our company has grown into a multinational corporation and we have a team of more than 500 people at our site in Kecskemét alone, it has retained one of its main values: a familial atmosphere. Our company is family owned and the familial atmosphere has been preserved to this day. We believe that this extra is the secret ingredient that has shaped our team into a real unit and enables it to perform exceptionally. We are happy that our colleagues are not just a cog in the big machine, but that come in every day and are amongst good friends. Friendships are formed that become part of our colleagues’ lives beyond work.
Autóflex-KNOTT Ltd. is constantly expanding and we are looking for new employees, not only from the Kecskemét area. There is a special travel allowance for commuting colleagues, and company buses transport employees from 19 municipalities. We motivate our employees with health insurance. We also try to bring the team even closer together by organising family days and company events.
