The following interview is with Zsolt Kiss, who, after 10 years of hard work, has become the export logistics and finished goods warehouse supervisor at our company. Please enjoy.
How long have you been part of the Autóflex-KNOTT Kft. team?
Zs.K.: I joined the company almost 10 years ago, in the summer of 2015, on 13 July, to be precise, and that's when it all started.
Is this your first job? If not, how did you start your career?
Zs.K.: No, I started out working in the semi-manufactured goods warehouse, that is where I got my first taste of the Autoflex life. Later I was given the opportunity to work in the production department as the supervisor of the A frame drawbar department. I currently work in logistics, where my responsibilities include organising export shipments and managing the finished goods warehouse.
What personal motivations do you have?
Zs.K.: I like to educate myself, and this year I applied to college for a degree in economics and management. Currently, achieving this is the biggest motivation. In addition to my current job, I have also started to work as an assistant coach and I would like to further my education in this field.
What do you consider your greatest success at the company?
Zs.K.: I cannot highlight just one thing. I consider it a success that I have always been able to carry out the tasks assigned to me, even in unfamiliar fields that I had to learn from scratch. I have always been passionate about logistics and this is where I can fulfil my potential in the company.
What do you consider the biggest challenge in your work?
Zs.K.: The biggest challenge for me, and what I love most about my job, is that every day brings new challenges. Communication with and information from different departments is essential in logistics processes. Together, we aim to maintain and increase customer satisfaction. The export warehouse is the end of the production process, the rest is “child’s play”, only the delivery is left…
Why do you like working at Autóflex-KNOTT Kft.?
Zs.K.: I came to the company as a career starter and have been trusted with several positions, for which I am grateful. At the age of 22, you don't really know what you want to do. I learned a lot from older colleagues and was always welcomed with open arms. It gave me a sense of trust in the company, which is part of why I like working here. Importantly, the company tries to take into account the needs of its employees and provide a stable job.
What is the working atmosphere and teamwork like?
Zs.K.: We spend a significant part of our lives working. What the atmosphere is like has many components and is mostly determined by things outside our control. Personally, I am working to improve this. I try to have a good relationship with everyone. It also promotes good teamwork.
How do you recharge when you're out of the daily grind?
Zs.K.: I strive to eliminate stress from my life. Doing sports has worked best for me. Alongside that, I have started fishing, which can be a great break from the daily routine.
What message would you send to existing and potential colleagues?
Zs.K.: Be patient, persistent and open to new things.
Thank you for the interview, Zsolt Kiss.
